Announcement on Establishing the Market Supervision Administration of China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone
With the approval of the People's Government of Shanghai Municipality, the SHFTZ Branch of the Shanghai Administration for Industry and Commerce and the SHFTZ Branch of the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision shall be integrated into the Market Supervision Administration of China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone (hereinafter referred to as the “SHFTZ”), whose office is at the Market Supervision Administration of Pudong New Area, Shanghai Municipality. The Market Supervision Administration of SHFTZ has free trade zone branches of bonded areas, which shall be responsible for public administration and supervision and law enforcement affairs in bonded areas.
The Market Supervision Administration of SHFTZ shall start to formally run as of March 1, 2016.
