Creating an Eco-Oasis: New Green Space to Boost Jinshan's Business and Well-being
2025-09-05 47
Recently, the green space landscape project along Jinshan Industrial Zone Avenue has been in full swing. Workers are engaged in various tasks: some are paving footpaths, while others are concentrating on square construction. From an aerial perspective, a green space that combines ecological value and cultural atmosphere has already taken initial shape. According to the on-site person in charge, the project has currently completed 85% of the total construction volume. Subsequent work will include the installation of some sculptures and scattered finishing touches, and the entire construction is expected to be fully completed by the end of October.
It is learned that the total area of the Jinshan Industrial Zone Avenue Green Space Landscape Project exceeds 57,900 square meters. The project comprises greening landscapes, supporting buildings, water body excavation, bridge and revetment projects, and simultaneously implements supporting projects such as water supply and drainage, electrical systems, and landscape features. As the green space is adjacent to enterprises in the industrial park, upon completion, it will not only enhance the overall image of the region and boost the business environment but also provide a pleasant place for enterprise employees to relax and take a break. This green space will be developed into a road green belt that integrates the cultural display of the Bay Area High-tech Zone, ecological construction, colorful vegetation, and citizen strolling. It will strengthen the regional urban landscape, protect the natural ecological environment, and improve the quality of life of surrounding residents and employees.
Up to now, there are 47 registered parks in Jinshan. The per capita park green space area has jumped from 9.0 square meters per person during the "13th Five-Year Plan" period to 10.07 square meters per person, and citizens' sense of gain and happiness have been continuously enhanced. In the next stage, Jinshan will continue to rely on its resource endowments and keep working on "increasing the quantity, exploring the potential, and improving the quality" of park green spaces.
According to the Greening and Forestry Section of the District Greening and City Appearance Administration Bureau, Jinshan will accelerate the advancement of green space construction, further increase the number of green belt scenic spots along Jinshan Avenue, and launch the construction of pocket parks at Gucheng Road. In addition, efforts will be made to promote the implementation of the "model area" and "model point" work for a park city, expand the thematic functions of parks, and further explore the service contents of "park +" and "+ park" models, so as to meet the diverse needs of surrounding residents for leisure, fitness, entertainment and other functions.
