The Jinshan District Information Office introduced that the Ruijin Hospital Jinshan Campus has now entered the interior decoration phase, with the exterior wall curtain project essentially completed. Workers are currently carrying out interior renovation work.

The Ruijin Hospital Jinshan Campus will bring together the hospital's leading medical disciplines. With a development positioning focused on serving Jinshan District, meeting the healthcare needs of southern Shanghai, and extending services to the Yangtze River Delta region, it will provide residents with high-quality medical services. The campus will prioritize treating complex, critical and severe cases while establishing key specialties such as emergency medicine and burn care. It will also cover disciplines including endocrinology, hematology, general surgery, pancreatic surgery, and cardiology.

The Ruijin Hospital Jinshan Campus occupies a site area of 228 mu (approximately 15.2 hectares) with a total floor space of about 98,200 square meters. The first phase will include 400 patient beds. The project is expected to pass final acceptance inspection by the end of this year. Medical equipment procurement and installation will take place in early next year, with trial operations anticipated to commence in mid-2026. Upon completion, it will fill the long-standing gap of lacking a Grade A, Class 3 general hospital in the Jinshan area.
