Shanghai municipal party committee leader adjusted

Shanghai municipal party committee leader has been adjusted that Wu Qing, the vice mayor of Shanghai, is appointed as a municipal committee member as well as standing committee member.
On September 4, Liberation Daily reported that the CPC central committee approved Wu Qing as a member of the standing committee of Shanghai municipal committee.
Wu Qing is a vice mayor of Shanghai, ranking second among the seven vice mayors. Chen Yin, a member of the standing committee of Shanghai municipal party committee and executive vice mayor, ranks first. After Qu Qing was appointed to the standing committee of the municipal party committee, there were two vice-mayors of the Shanghai municipal government.
Wu Qing is currently in charge of economic and information technology, science and technology, finance, science and innovation center construction and other work in Shanghai municipal government. He is in charge of Municipal Economic and Information Technology Commission (Municipal Radio Administration), Municipal Science and Technology Commission (Municipal Bureau of Foreign Experts), Municipal Local Financial Supervision Administration (Municipal Bureau of Financial Work) and Science and Innovation Agency.
