Foster a Sound View of Political Performance, Deepen Foreign-related Legal Services

Recently, Deputy Director Kang Shaojun and Section Chief Lu Xinyue from Jinshan District Bureau of Justice, Shanghai Municipality, visited Shanghai Nuo Di Law Firm to supervise a special Party building study session centered on General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on fostering and practicing a sound view of political performance.

                                                                                                  

At the outset of the event, Attorney Xu Wen, Secretary of the CPC Branch of the Firm, led all Party members in revisiting the Party admission oath, guiding Party member attorneys to stay true to the original aspiration and mission and consolidate their ideological foundation. Centering on their professional duties as lawyers, all Party members exchanged insights on fostering and practicing a sound view of political performance. They further clarified the value orientation of legal practice, upheld the original aspiration of the rule of law for the people, and reinforced the ideological line of practicing law in accordance with the law.


During the panel discussion, Attorney Na Ren, Managing Partner of Shanghai Nuo Di Law Firm, delivered a special report. He elaborated on the firm’s practical achievements in cross-border legal services for Russia under the Belt and Road Initiative, shared innovative paths for business development against the backdrop of the foreign-related legal service industry, and strived to integrate Party building with foreign-related businesses at a deeper level, realizing two-way empowerment: Party building drives quality improvement and core businesses pursue innovation while staying rooted in fundamentals.

                                                                                                  

Deputy Director Kang spoke highly of the outcomes of the special study and fully recognized the firm’s distinctive development layout for foreign-related legal services. She also made arrangements for advancing Party building and business expansion in the next stage. She required all Party member attorneys to consistently foster and practice a sound view of political performance, align their work with the overall agenda of opening up at the regional level, and proactively explore new tracks for foreign-related legal services. They must remain down-to-earth, take on responsibilities, break new ground through innovation, continuously polish their professional legal service capabilities, and safeguard regional opening-up and high-quality economic development with premium and efficient foreign-related legal services.
