Clearing House on Issuing the Guidelines for the Central Counterparty Clearing
Business for Cross-Border Foreign Exchange Transactions
All market participants:
The Shanghai Clearing House is scheduled to launch the central counterparty
clearing business for cross-border foreign exchange spot transactions
(hereinafter referred to as “cross-border foreign exchange clearing business”)
from February 2, 2018. To facilitate market participants' understanding of and
participation in cross-border foreign exchange clearing business, further
specify the business operating procedures, and ensure the smooth implementation
of the business, in accordance with the Rules on the Central Counterparty
Clearing for Cross-Border Foreign Exchange Spot Transactions, the Shanghai
Clearing House developed the Guidelines for the Central Counterparty Clearing
Business for Cross-Border Foreign Exchange Transactions (see the Annex), which
are hereby issued.
