Decision of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress on Ratifying the Counterterrorism Convention of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization
(As adopted at the 12th session of the Standing Committee of the Twelfth National People's Congress on December 28, 2014)
At the 12th session of the Standing Committee of the Twelfth National People's Congress, it is decided to ratify the Counterterrorism Convention of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization signed by the then President Hu Jintao at Yekaterinburg on behalf of the People's Republic of China on June 16, 2009; however, with the following statement: The Counterterrorism Convention of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization shall not apply to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, until a notice of the Government of the People's Republic of China directs otherwise.
