Decision of the Standing
Committee of the National People's Congress on Ratifying the Convention for the
Unification of Certain Rules Relating to International Carriage by Air
(Adopted on February 28, 2005)
As proposed by the State Council for deliberation and ratification, the 14th
session of the 10th Standing Committee of the National Congress decides to
ratify the Convention for the Unification of
Certain Rules Relating to International Carriage by Air, which was
adopted by the International Civil Aviation Organization at Montreal on May 28,
1999; moreover, it is simultaneously declared that the Convention for the Unification of Certain Rules
Relating to International Carriage by Air does not apply to the Hong
Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China for the
time being until the Government of the People's Republic of China notifies
otherwise.
