Notice of the China Securities Depository and Clearing Co., Ltd. on Launching Electronic Vouchers for Business Use
All market participants:
For the purposes of providing safer, more convenient and more efficient market services and further improving business handling efficiency and market service level, the China Securities Depository and Clearing Co., Ltd. (“CSDC”) will launch electronic vouchers in some business lines from June 1, 2018. You are hereby notified of the relevant matters as follows:
I. “Electronic voucher” means an electronic document which is generated by the business system of the CSDC based on business handling information, contains the data message such as business check code and is electronically signed by the electronic voucher basic service platform of the CSDC.
II. The pattern of the seal on an electronic voucher, which is identical with the physical seal at the counter, is a red circle consisting of the CSDC's name, special business seal, the serial number of the seal, and other contents.
III. A valid electronic voucher issued by the CSDC has the same legal force as the paper certificate affixed with the physical seal.
IV. Relevant market participants may verify electronic vouchers through the electronic voucher verification platform on the website of the CSDC (https：//esign.chinaclear.cn//signCheck).
V. All market participants shall use the electronic vouchers of CSDC within the scope permitted by laws and regulations. The legal consequences of any forgery or theft of, tampering with or any other illegal use of electronic vouchers shall be borne by the relevant parties themselves. The CSDCreserves the right of final interpretation of the electronic vouchers issued by it.
