Russian President Vladimir Putin stated during a meeting with students and teachers at Harbin Institute of Technology that the investment amount in the Russian Far East is three times that of other regions.
"In Harbin, China, our friends and your predecessors have long been on the path of creating favorable policies for the development of these regions, and have achieved good results. We need to take what we are doing very seriously, learn from each other's experiences, and create the best conditions. As for the Russian Far East region, I think we have seen results. For example, the investment amount in the Far East region is three times that of other regions in Russia. Obviously, this indicates that investors have responded positively to our proposals," Putin said of the development of relations between the Russian Far East region and Northeast China.
