China Approves the Outline of Planning for Xiong'an New Area
China's Central Committee of CPC and State Council recently approved the Outline of Planning for Xiong'an New Area, Hebei.
The Outline contains ten chapters: the Overall Requirements; Developing a Scientific and Rational Spatial Layout; Developing an Urban Style in a New Era; Creating a Beautiful Natural Environment; Developing High-End and High and New Technology Industries; Providing High Quality Shared Public Services; Building a Fast and Efficient Traffic Network; Constructing a Green Intelligent New City; Establishing a Modern Urban Security System; and Guaranteeing the Orderly and Effective Implementation of Plan. As pointed out in the Outline, it is the primary basis for guiding the planning and construction of Xiong'an New Area. The planning period reaches 2035, with an outlook on its development in the middle of this century.
