On April 24, the International Criminal Chasing & Recovery Work Office of the Central Anti-corruption Coordinating Group held the launch ceremony of "Skynet 2018" & Training Course of National Criminal Chasing & Recovery Work in Beijing.

Li Shulei, the vice secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection & the deputy director of National Supervisory Commission, emphasized on strengthening the centralized and unified leadership over the criminal chasing & recovery work, realizing responsibility by tier, and transforming the institutional advantages into governance efficiency by combining the bold exploration supervision system reform. The party shall  take serious measures to operate Skynet, to catch the fugitives and prevent escaping, and to consolidate and expand the frightening effect.

Li also pointed out that to increase the exposure and publicity, continue to create a strong recovery atmosphere. We will strengthen business training and build a team with strong political skills, strong ability and good style.

According to statistics, since the “Skynet” launched in 2015, 4,058 fugitives had been caught from more than 90 countries and regions, including 800 national staff, 52 people listed on Interpol Red Notice and it recovered the money nearly one hundred million yuan.

More than 200 people from Central Fugitive Hunting Units, all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities in the country, the Xinjiang production and construction corps, and some foreign embassies and consulates attended the training.
